David Bullock, a certified public accountant and founder of Bullock Capital Alliance, observed many investment mistakes and failures while serving clients in his previous CPA practice. By leveraging his tax and accounting background with a strong work ethic in investment research and financial planning, he discovered strategies and solutions that could help clients work more effectively towards their financial goals.

In 2002, he established Bullock Capital Alliance as a fee-only fiduciary firm that remains committed to the high ethical standards of the CPA profession. In establishing his firm as a fiduciary, he assured a strategic advantage over commission-based competitors and acknowledged his legal obligation to put clients' well-being first.

David graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana Tech University in 1993 and began his accounting career with one of Louisiana's largest public accounting firms: Cole, Evans, & Peterson. He founded his own tax and accounting practice in 1998 when he and his wife, Lynn, moved to Colorado. Soon after associating with two financial services firms in Colorado Springs, he decided to break away to start his own independent financial services firm where he could give clients the best possible financial planning advice without conflicts of interest. In 2007, he stopped providing tax and accounting services so that he could focus exclusively on giving investment and financial planning advice.

A licensed CPA since 1994 and Personal Financial Specialist* since 2005, David is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Colorado Society of CPAs, and Financial Planning Association. He has coordinated continuing professional education programs for CPAs and has been quoted by the Colorado Springs Business Journal on topics related to investments and financial planning.

*The PFS credential is issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants exclusively to CPAs with considerable experience in comprehensive financial planning.
